Alex Matz didn't arrive at law from a straight line. Before earning his J.D. — with honors from Nova Southeastern University in 2012 — he spent more than 30 years as a licensed physical therapist, earning his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Miami. That background shapes everything about how he practices law.
Clinical training demands precision, patience, and the ability to explain complex information to people who are scared, overwhelmed, or in pain. So does good lawyering. Alex brings both to every client he represents — whether that's a tenant who lost their security deposit, a family navigating the immigration system, or a parent planning for the generation that comes next.
"The law shouldn't feel like a wall between people and their rights. My job is to make it a door — and then help you walk through it."— Alexander M. Matz, Esq.

Alex founded Klaro Law to serve clients across the full arc of their legal lives — not just one narrow specialty. The firm's four practice areas reflect the real needs of Miami's families, tenants, and immigrant communities.
Alex practices throughout Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties, with a special focus on the Miami Latin community and immigrant populations across South Florida. Fluent in Spanish, he serves clients in both languages without relying on interpreters — ensuring nothing gets lost in translation when the stakes are high.
His firm, Matz Law PLLC, operates alongside Klaro Law at the same Brickell address, providing immigration representation under the same roof as estate, elder, and tenant rights services — making coordinated, family-centered legal planning genuinely accessible.
Alex believes legal help should be financially accessible. Klaro Law offers contingency-fee representation for tenant rights cases (no recovery, no fee), flat-fee structures for estate planning, and transparent pricing for immigration and elder law matters — discussed openly at the free initial consultation, before any commitment is made.
All consultations are free, confidential, and available in English or Spanish. There's no obligation — just clarity.
